Moving Oasis
A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux
What is Moving Oasis?
Moving Oasis is a meditative top-down game about restoring life to a barren world.
You pilot a seeder-tank with a crew of three alien beings — each with a name, a face, and something to say. Every tile you cross sprouts greenery behind you — sprouting becomes growth, growth becomes lush forest. Your trail is your legacy on the landscape.
Discover Ancient Landmarks
The world is dotted with the ruins of civilizations past: neolithic stone circles, Mayan pyramids with carved faces, overgrown temples swallowed by tree roots, and the rusted skeletons of recent technology — radio towers still blinking, wind turbines still turning for no one.
Each landmark holds a fragment of lore. Piece together what happened to this world.
Your Crew
Three alien crew members join each journey, chosen from a roster of nine. Each has their own voice — quiet observations on landmarks you pass, and reactions when you unearth an artefact. Their discoveries are logged in the Captain's Journal, carried across runs.
Artefact Discovery
Ancient and alien objects are hidden near dangerous terrain — tucked beside lava flows, mountain ridges, and water's edge. Slow down near them and your crew will notice. Each find triggers a popup: a crew portrait, their reaction, and the artefact catalogued in your journal.
Contain the Pollution
Oil spills and fires spread slowly across the land, smothering life. Encircle them with your green trail and the spread stops — the enclosed area begins a slow reclamation back to fertile ground. Fire, once contained, leaves behind fertile ash that regrows faster than surrounding land.
